CURRENCY CHECK · AUSTRALIA

Am I current to fly?

Enter a few dates from your logbook and medical certificate. We check them against CASR Part 61 and show when each one lapses, with the rule quoted word for word.

Your licence

Aeroplane category, single-engine aeroplane class rating.

Flight review

In an aeroplane of the class covered by the rating, or an approved flight simulator. Some flight tests and checks count as one: see regulation 61.745 (3).

Only matters if you renewed within 3 months of the old one expiring.

Recent take-offs and landings

Count only take-offs and landings in an aeroplane, or an approved flight simulator, while you were flying it. Each take-off must be followed by a climb to at least 500 ft AGL. Find your last three take-offs and your last three landings, day or night, and enter the oldest date.

Night flying
Medical

As printed on your certificate.

Your dates stay in this browser. Nothing is sent to us.

WHERE YOU STAND

Add your dates to see where you stand.

Educational only. Your logbook, your instructor and CASA have the final word.

Covers the single-engine aeroplane class rating, the night VFR rating, passenger recency and the medical certificate. Other ratings and endorsements have their own rules. For the 90-day, 6-month, 12-month and 24-month windows we count the date itself as day 1, the stricter reading, and we treat a printed expiry date as already expired. New Zealand checks are not available yet. See the CAA NZ website.
